About the Authors
Kevin
McKeon has experience litigating, arbitrating and mediating
delay, acceleration, unforeseen site conditions, change order
and lost productivity claims, as well as bid protests,
mechanics' liens, and payment and performance bond claims. He
has represented general contractors, subcontractors, materialmen,
sureties and owners on public and private projects, including
high-rise luxury condominiums, stadiums, structural steel
building projects, power plants, site work and heavy paving
projects, underground utility, pipeline, water and sewer
systems, and multiple-prime sites throughout the country.
Prior to joining Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald in 2002,
Kevin was a named partner in a Construction and Labor Law firm
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he appeared regularly
throughout the state trial and appellate courts and before the
American Arbitration Association, and argued individually before
the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and Third Circuit Court of
Appeals.
Kevin also taught business law and ethics at both the
Pennsylvania State University and Duquesne University, and
served as Editor-in-Chief of The Construction Newsline.

David
Wonderlick is a partner at Varela, Lee, Metz & Guarino, LLP in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Dave focuses his practice on construction litigation and government contracts. He has represented contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, developers, sureties, and public agencies on projects involving the construction of conventional and nuclear power plants, wastewater treatment facilities, highways and bridges, dams, professional sports stadiums, airport facilities, mass transit systems, hotels, military facilities, and housing complexes. Dave also has experience in drafting contracts for the procurement of construction, architectural, and engineering services.
Dave has spent his entire career representing clients in the construction industry, first as an associate with a large Philadelphia, Pennsylvania firm as a member of their construction practice group, and later as an associate and partner at one of the largest firms in the country devoted to the practice of construction law.
